Job Summary

This newly created position reports directly to the CEO and will play a critical role in developing an overall recruitment strategy. The VP of Talent Acquisition plans, develops and directs recruitment strategies, processes, and employment programs. The VP leads the process to develop our employer brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for designing, implementing and managing end-to-end, company-wide recruitment processes that ensure the delivery of a pipeline of qualified candidates with the greatest efficiency
  • Manage the candidate experience
  • Manage social media, employment advertising agencies, and development strategic candidate sources
  • Manage the offer letters process
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business leaders
  • Assesses external labor market conditions, analyze trends, create metrics and understand business needs to develop highly effective proactive recruiting strategies
  • Create talent acquisition strategies, KPI’s and specific objectives
  • Develop and manage talent acquisition budgets, policies, procedures
  • Facilitate the offer process gaining all necessary approvals
  • Ensure all recruiting activities consistent with the organization’s policies and standards
  • Develop and manage talent acquisition dashboard
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment law and regulations

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • (5+) years of recent experience with high volume, fast-paced recruitment for startup tech firm
  • Experience with behavioral-based (competency) interviewing
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through and stay abreast of all top job boards and social media
  • Competency to multitask, and meet goals within the set timeframe
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills
