Last year we introduced the signature field to allow non-intrusive promotion of third-party products. From that moment onwards promotional texts, announcements and external links were only allowed in the signature field and no longer allowed in any of the chart fields. For the last 6 months you have all been able to try the signature, give us feedback and assess its value. This post is a heads-up on an important change.
The signature field, as well as the website field in the user profile, will soon be available exclusively for Premium plan holders. These users will have their signature visible under every published idea and will be able to link to any website from their user profile. This change will reduce the amount of third-party product promotion on TradingView, while we still offer the possibility to those who truly value it.
